America's Chronically Ill Children Have New Hope with "Hot" Gift

Wallingford, CT · September 25, 2007 / PRNewswire / – ThermoSpas, the country's largest hot tub retailer, announced that it is in search of 12 chronically ill children to give specially-designed therapeutic hot tubs to in 2008. Through its expanded Seasons of Giving program, the company will donate 12 ThermoSpas hot tubs—one a month—to sick children who will benefit from warm water therapy. ThermoSpas launched its hot tub donation program, Seasons of Giving, in 2002. To date, 16 recipients—with illnesses ranging from Cerebral Palsy and Muscular Dystrophy to Fibromyalgia and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis—have benefited from donated ThermoSpas. Each of these children's parents reports that daily soaking in the hot tub has significantly improved their child's quality of life.
