Perot Systems Expands Healthcare Market Initiatives with Launch of Revenue Cycle Solutions Ad Campaign
Plano, Texas (September 2, 2008) /PRNewswire/ — Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE:PER - www.perotsystems.com) today announced the launch of an expanded market initiative to help meet increasing demand for one of the company's most popular and successful healthcare industry IT services offerings: Revenue Cycle Solutions (RCS). In the past two years, Perot Systems' RCS services have enabled hospitals across the U.S. to collect more than $12.5 billion in accounts receivable.
Perot Systems' new market initiative begins with an ad campaign aimed at the healthcare industry's providers (hospitals and large physicians practices) to increase awareness of the company's RCS success and additional potential.

Through major healthcare trade publications, websites and e-newsletters, the campaign focuses on reaching C-level readership within the hospital market, primarily CFOs, by maximizing exposure in the major trade publications in the healthcare revenue cycle space – Modern Healthcare, hfm (the magazine of the Healthcare Financial Management Association – HFMA), HealthLeaders and Healthcare Finance News. Three ads have been developed that metaphorically promote the RCS services, emphasizing revenue cycle outsourcing and project capabilities. Electronic formats of the ads will also appear on trade publication websites, in e-newsletters and in the HFMA 2009 Buyer's Resource Guide.
"The fall campaign is designed to increase market awareness of RCS through strategic placement of the ads and well-coordinated timing," Armstrong said. "Ultimately, our goal is to strengthen the sales pipeline and grow new business through enhanced lead generation efforts. To help further create awareness and generate leads, the campaign also consists of integrated elements with an e-mail and direct mail "call-to-action" component, an online strategy that includes search engine optimization (SEO) and multimedia distribution that includes displays of the ad in New York City's Times Square.
Conceptually, development of the campaign centered on the creative design of each ad to visually relay the message of the RCS service offering. Special attention was also placed on the overall message which positions RCS as the leader in its respective space by highlighting the expertise of RCS associates, years in the industry and impact on the industry. The result is a focused ad series that is strikingly different from other ads in the publications.
