Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens Face Off in Klondike® Online Roast

Roast Pits Player Against Player to See Who Has a Thicker Shell

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. (November 11, 2009) /PRNewswire/ — Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens are known for taking hard hits on the gridiron, but what about when the pads come off? In celebration of its thicker, more chocolatey shell on six varieties, Klondike® wants to test the thickness of the pro football players' shells off the field. The iconic ice cream brand has brought together two of the sport's most talented and outspoken players to try their hand at a little comedy — roast style — with the Klondike® "Ocho - TO Thicker Shell Face-Off," launching today on the Klondike® Fan Page on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/Klondike.

The roast will take place over a two-week period. Starting November 11, Ochocinco will roast Owens for one week with lighthearted messages to test the thickness of Owens' shell. The tables turn November 18 when Owens roasts Ochocinco. During their respective roasting periods, Owens and Ochocinco will have an opportunity to fire back at their antagonist.

During these two weeks, consumers are invited to follow along with Owens and Ochocinco, and will be able to join in on the fun by submitting their own "roast" comments in a 500-character-or-less message on the Klondike® Fan Page on Facebook. Five consumer roasts will be selected and posted each week.
