MultiVu provides broadcast journalists several ways to receive broadcast-quality video. The one you choose depends on your time constraints and your facility's technical capabilities. These are broken down into two main categories: traditional delivery and digital delivery.
Traditional delivery consists of satellite/fiber feeds as well as hard copy beta tapes delivered via overnight courier.
Digital delivery consists of broadcast quality* QuickTime MOV file(s) encoded using the MPEG4(h.264) video codec and the AAC audio codec in Standard Definition (SD) resolution of 720x480. These files can be imported into Avid Media Composer, FinalCut Pro, Adobe Premier, and other editing systems for editing into a finished piece.
To simplify your options to acquire our footage, we have grouped them into the 'Feeds and Assets' section of the page. A brief summary is below.
Use this button to download the MOV file directly to your computer. You must click this button for each clip you wish to download. Once downloaded, the file can be transferred from your Mac/PC to an editing system.
To download, click on the 'Immediate Download' button, fill in the requested fields and click 'Submit'. Next, click on the link in the following window and specify where on your Mac/PC you would like to save the file.
You will only be able to view this file using Apple's QuickTime 7.6 or greater which is available for free to download for both the Mac OS and Windows OS.
We have provided a link to the QuickTime player below as a courtesy, which will provide MOV playback capability on your computer. Your results may vary depending on your system's performance. The installation of this software is not supported by MultiVu or PR Newswire. You will need to contact Apple for support.

Use this section to request the MOV file(s) via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Provide us your FTP server information and we will 'push' the file(s) to your server.
In order for us to 'push' the file to you, we need to know your server IP address, a username, and password to access the server and transfer the file(s) to it. You must fill out those fields in the form. In addition, you will need to check off each news package you would like to receive. Use the 'Select for FTP' checkbox in the lower right hand corner of each asset.
NOTE: The MOV files can be very large, between 200 - 500 MBs each, depending on length of the clip. We strongly advise you have at least a 2 Mbit download connection via DSL, Cable modem, or corporate LAN to download these files. Depending on the speed and usage of your connection, this could take from 20 minutes to several hours to download.
This tab lists the satellite feed schedule for this news package. Generally there are two feeds for each news package, usually spread out over 2 days. Additional satellite or fiber feeds can be requested if time or technical limitations do not allow for other methods such as hard copy request or MOV download.
Use the form on this tab to have a Beta SP tape shipped overnight to you.
