Alliance says YOU CAN! This story focuses on foods and cooking methods
that can aggravate heartburn, and how to avoid them. The National Heartburn
Alliance has developed a free guide to help consumers make smarter food
choices to PREVENT heartburn. The guide can help, by distinguishing which
foods and cooking methods are "heartburn friendly." Foods are
coded RED, YELLOW and GREEN based on the familiar stoplight (stop,
proceed with caution and go). The guide is easy to follow use it
while grocery shopping OR dining out at your favorite restaurant. And,
if changing your diet is not enough, this story gives examples of what
else can be done. There is also a toll free number, and a website consumers
can visit if they have more questions, or would like a free guide. You
don't have to suffer!
