Hard Rock Kicks Off "Imagine There's No Hunger" Campaign to Benefit WHY (World Hunger Year) with Exclusive Performance by Artist Ambassadors O.A.R.

Story Summary:

Yoko Ono Lennon has teamed up with Hard Rock International for Imagine There's No Hunger, a global campaign to benefit WHY - a nonprofit organization that strives to fight against hunger and poverty around the world. Dedicated to its Love All, Serve All motto, 100% of net proceeds from Hard Rock's campaign will directly benefit WHY and its grassroots partners around the globe, that have developed ways to feed children worldwide who are victims of poverty and also teach them farming and entrepreneurial skills for the future. On Monday, November 9, 2009, the campaign kicks off at Hard Rock Cafe New York with a star-studded red carpet and benefit concert, headlined by artist Ambassadors O.A.R., also featuring a performance by singer/songwriter Arno Carstens.

Several artists and celebrities are also showing their support for Hard Rock's Imagine There's No Hunger campaign, including Yoko Ono Lennon, Ringo Starr and Forest and Keisha Whitaker.

Campaign Ambassadors O.A.R. have also donated a live track of "Lay Down" to Hard Rock's Serve4 digital album, a project dedicated to serving those in need. The lead track will be "Gimme Some Truth" by John Lennon, donated by Yoko Ono Lennon. The Serve4 album, available at Hard Rock locations worldwide on November 9th, will also feature versions of rare, live or previously unreleased tracks from some of music's most influential artists.
