FIRST PRESS BRIEFING IN THE UNITED STATES EVER TO BE HELD 180 FEET ABOVE LAS VEGAS AT THE INTERNET CAFÉ IN THE SKY
Story Summary:Nokia went to new heights today by introducing its new product to assembled reporters 180 feet above Las Vegas at the CTIA Wireless Show. On a platform suspended 180 feet off the ground by a crane in the "Nokia Internet Café in the Sky," over 22 reporters at a time were able to try out the new N810 Internet Tablet. This soon-to-be-available wireless Internet browsing tablet features a new long range wireless data technology called WiMAX that allows consumers to access the Internet in unexpected places – such as high above the Nevada desert. The Internet Café in the Sky is the first time that this unique platform has been used commercially in the United States.
