ACTRESS MOLLY SHANNON KICKS OFF THE RETURN OF CHARMIN’S FREE, FULLY-STAFFED PUBLIC RESTROOMS IN TIMES SQUARE

Story Summary:

Tourists and New Yorkers can rediscover the luxury of free, fully-staffed public restrooms in New York City as the Charmin® Restrooms return to Times Square this holiday season. Actress and NYC mom, Molly Shannon will inaugurate the stalls with the ceremonial "first flush" and ribbon cutting.

More than 420,000 people from 100 countries and all 50 states visited the Restrooms last year. The 2007 facilities once again feature 20 plush restrooms, and the debut of Charmin's newly-designed bath tissue lineup, including Ultra Soft and Ultra Strong. Upon entering the restrooms, visitors will have a variety of interactive activities available and will be able to choose the Charmin that's right for them.

The Charmin Restrooms open its doors November 19th with actress and comedian Molly Shannon at 1540 Broadway in Times Square between West 45th and West 46th Street. The Restrooms are open to the public from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm seven days a week from now until December 31st. Restrooms will be open all day on Thanksgiving and until 6pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The Restrooms will be closed Christmas day.
