The seven-tiered, 13,000-pound Mohegan Sun wedding cake will attempt to shatter the world record for the largest wedding cake in the Guinness Book of World Records. Currently, the world's largest wedding cake weighs 2,419.4 kg (5,334 lb), and was unveiled at Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida on June 12, 2003. The Mohegan Sun wedding cake will be vanilla flavored and decorated with chocolate bows and hearts. Ingredients include: 10,000 pounds of Rich Pound Cake Batter and 4,810 pounds of rich creamy frosting with a rich taste of vanilla and almond.

The New England Bridal Showcase will be the largest and most spectacular bridal event in southeastern Connecticut featuring hundreds of vendors and wedding planners including a breathtaking fashion show.
